Harbour City Centre Annex

LT McGuinness returned to the heritage-listed Harbour City Centre where we had strengthened the centre’s tower a decade earlier. This time, the adjacent annex was extensively strengthened to attain 100 percent of the new building standard.

The annex had to be temporarily supported to enable the retro-fit of k-frames and structural strengthening members. A close working partnership with seismic specialists Dunning Thornton Consultants involving numerous workshops helped achieve the safest and most effective outcome.
