Project Description

The refurbishment of this former nightclub in Wakefield Street was to house a leading-edge film technology company, Silverscreen Productions.

The refurbishment featured recycled jarrah timber from sheds on Wellington’s wharves, and a sky-lit roof that flooded a three-storey atrium with natural light. Glass windows opened up the front and looked down the length of Allen Street. Property and finance group St Laurence later took the building over.
