Project Description

The heritage-listed Transpower House, formerly known as Shell House, was one of the first modern towers on The Terrace in Wellington, an area now dominated by office high-rise.

LT McGuinness was asked to refurbish and re-strengthen the building to ensure its ongoing suitability for commercial offices. We worked closely with developer Willis Bond and Co, owner Ron Brierley, and the design and structural consultants to come up with the best building solutions.
