James is a qualified structural engineer with five years’ consultant experience. On joining us he took on a site engineering role at the new 44 Bowen Street building and he’s now a site manager on the Living Pa building at Victoria University. This project is part of the ‘Living Building Challenge’, a global green building initiative. James has had a longstanding interest in sustainability and green building so this project is a perfect alignment for his skillset. The challenging timber structure and its sustainable design will set a new bar for green building practices in Wellington. James’ excellent communication skills and knowledge make him a valued member of any team.
