Kerrin was appointed as one of our management company directors in April 2012, a tribute not only to his technical and engineering abilities but also his strong leadership skills. Fifteen years earlier, in his final year of study for an engineering diploma to go with his carpentry qualification, Kerrin had joined us for some work experience, working alongside his father Bill. He had planned to study engineering at Canterbury University but instead, Kerrin celebrated 20 years with us in 2017. That year he also won a national award for a technical innovation that greatly assisted with the restrengthening and refurbishment of St Mary of the Angels, one of the most complex jobs we’ve ever undertaken. Personable and empathetic, Kerrin has a calm nature and little seems to faze him. These qualities were evident early on when he was a young site manager on two of our major award-winning projects, Chews Lane and Clyde Quay Wharf.
