Friendly and committed, Lauren spends as much time as possible on site, building trust and personal rapport. When asked how to do things safely, she will work alongside people to get safe, practical solutions that everyone is comfortable with. Lauren came to us with three years’ experience in construction health and safety, and enjoys her current role engaging with people across multiple Manawatu projects and one in Hawkes Bay. She is a big fan of MATES in Construction and, as a result of her drive, a Palmerston North site was the first in the company to receive MATES accreditation. Lauren also runs H&S initiatives ranging from site-based exercise and weight-loss challenges to work-based indoor netball teams and support for the multi-sport Iron Māori competition. Her energy and positive approach to H&S were among the reasons Lauren was a finalist in the national 2025 Women in Construction (NAWIC) awards.
