Russell, a member of our senior leadership team, hails from Perth where he was a carpenter and holder of an Australian Builders’ Registration Diploma. As a senior building estimator for a major construction company, he oversaw successful tender bids for numerous multi-million-dollar contracts. Since arriving in New Zealand in 2013, Russell has gained both a National Certificate in Carpentry and a reputation for outstanding skills as a commercial manager. He is an excellent driver of both people and projects. Attention to detail, tenacity and a commitment to high standards have been the hallmarks of his approach across many of our major projects including the Bowen campus and the Archives Building.
