Sam’s first job with us was labouring over the summer holidays in 2011; more lately he’s been commercial manager for the $90 million Victoria Lane Apartments. From a quantity surveying cadetship Sam rapidly moved to progressively bigger and more complex jobs including Victoria University, NZX and TradeMe. No matter the role or challenge, Sam always remains calm and measured. He was a finalist in the 2021 NZ Building Industry Awards for his work on the Farmers Building, a major heritage and renewal project in downtown Wellington. Popular with clients, consultants, subcontractors and workmates, he has excellent IT skills and is a ‘go to’ person for his all-round technical know-how and pricing expertise. Sam is a NZ Institute of Quantity Surveyors’ member and holds a Diploma in Quantity Surveying.
