Shyam Patel is a very technical QS who loves understanding the detail of a project. He has more than six years’ construction experience and a talent for getting to grips with the nuts and bolts of any job. Shyam has a diploma in construction, a bachelor’s degree in chemical and materials engineering, and a post-grad certificate in engineering studies. In his time with us he has moved from in-house pricing to a hands-on delivery role at the District Court, a seismic remediation and upgrade project in downtown Auckland. Shyam is a problem solver with great technical and mechanical knowledge around building services and structural engineering. He is very enthusiastic about personal fitness and all forms of running from middle distance to cross country, and has set up a running club at the Court.
