Sydnie is a highly-organised cadet Project Manager at 61 Molesworth in Wellington, a complex new 14-storey project where she liaises with the client, consultants, sub-contractors and neighbours. Her innovation to efficiently manage project documentation for quality and compliance has been incorporated into LT McGuinness’s company-wide best practice guide. Sydnie would like further her knowledge and experience and is keen to support more women in construction, especially in leadership and senior positions. She has hosted tours on site, given talks at high school Career Expos and talked at the local girls’ college she attended, encouraging young women to look at construction as an option. Sydnie has a Bachelor of Building Science degree, double majoring in Project Management and Sustainable Engineering Systems. A keen footballer who has represented Wellington, Sydnie won the LT McGuinness Young Achiever Award in 2024.
